This program will provide the healthiest, thickest, greenest zoysia lawn with fewer weeds while using 80% less chemicals and pesticides than other conventional lawn programs. We service the lawn based on “Mother Nature’s Calendar”. No less than eight applications per year. Our main ingredient, Holganix Bio-800+ is a 100% organic liquid packed with millions of “living” micro-organisms, beneficial bacteria and fungi to promote the deepest roots and greenest color, biologically.
Round 1: A liquid, winter pre-emergent weed control treatment for prevention of weeds and spraying of any existing weeds (including wild onions, fescue clumps, hyacinth or poa-anna).
Round 2: A liquid pre-emergent weed control geared towards preventing crabgrass and most summer weeds, full rate of Holganix Bio-800+ and a liquid organic fertilizer for spring root development and color.
Round 3: A full rate of Holganix Bio-800+, a fast-release zoysia blend of organic fertilizer for a deep green color and a slow release biological fertilizer for the deepest green color. This will feed the lawn at the early stages of growth for the new season. Spray any existing weeds. *Core Aeration recommended.
Round 4: A full rate of Holganix Bio-800+, a fast-release zoysia blend of organic fertilizer and a slow release biological fertilizer which will keep the grass deep green, healthy and thick. Spray any existing weeds.
Round 5: A full rate of Holganix Bio-800+ and a slow release biological fertilizer which will keep the grass deep green, healthy and thick. Continue, if necessary, to treat any existing weeds.
Round 6: A full rate of Holganix Bio-800+ and a special-blended biological fertilizer geared towards root health before the lawn goes dormant which will also keep the grass deep green, healthy and thick.
Round 7: A liquid, fall pre-emergent weed control treatment for prevention of cool season weeds. Continue, if necessary, to treat any remaining weeds.
Round 8: Apply Calcium / Lime treatment. This soil amendment will maintain the proper pH and condition the soil for the following season of fertilizers, providing nearly 100% of nutrient absorption.
All treatments are vital to achieve optimum results and should not be skipped or substituted. Weeds such as dallisgrass, goosegrass, nutsedge, summer spurge & button weed are non-preventable weeds but treated when they emerge at no additional costs to you.
